Vrogum is an order-producing company and can produce windows according to any measures, design and colour desirable.

Vrogum only uses slow growing pinewood from Northern Scandinavia. Where the long winter and the short summer gives the wood its close growth rings. This gives strength, hardness and a remarkable resistance - and a large share of heartwood ensures a very long durability. For the most exposed parts of the window, laminated wood is used to secure the best stability.
Only the best quality is good enough - that is the criteria used by Vrogum when selecting pinewood. The wood is sorted out in a way that the end product is secured a minimum of knots with a beautiful harmonic appearance.

SUPER LOW E GLASS
As standard, the windows are delivered with a super low-energy pane 4-14-4 mm with a U-value of 1.2 to obtain a high insulation level. You can also choose among many different sorts of functional and figured glass, for example: ornament - safety - sunshaded - or burglary restrictive glass.
Vrogum is one of few window producers, who has choosen to fit glazing beads inside and seal the glass with silicone both inside and outside. There are many advantages with the internal glazing bead and the silicone seal. It provides the units with considerably longer durability because all weak spots for water penetration on the outside have been eliminated. The surface is 100% watertight. By using silicone instead of rubber glazing strips , is that in course of time the rubber dries up and cracks enabling water to penetrate into the construction. The silicone remains hard, tight and elastic for many years. Vrogum has more than 30 years of experience fitting glass with silicone.
Besides the advantages of longer durability, the inside glazing beads and glass fitting with silicone also makes the window more burglary safe, as it is impossible to dismantle the pane from the outside.
