We all want to live healthy and comfortably lives. Unfortunately, the Earth’s natural resources may not last forever. Now more than ever, it is crucial that we develop ecological products in order to preserve energy resources.

- Unique window construction

Vrogum wood aluminium clad windows are unique on the marked with it special construction and in its capacity of being one of the tightest and one of the best insulated windows on the marked, with possible insulation values of down to under 0.8. A good standard casement window will only achieve about 1.6, so the window can be twice as good as a good standard casement window.

- High quality entrance doors

Vrogum aluminium clad doors are one of the absolute best doors on the marked, with it’s strongly build construction and its special quality. The door is one of the safest and most stable doors on the marked. In addition it is one of the few “real” aluminium clad doors on the marked, usually they are made from HDF, but this one has real maintenance free aluminium on the outside and wood on the inside.

Large choice

This exclusive door program consist of 28 different designs. Vrogum also has the biggest choice on different colours, both inside and outside.

Maintenance free outside

The items can be supplied on the inside with knot free North European pine or the more exclusive European oak, both laminated and maintenance free aluminium on the outside. The timber can be supplied in almost any paint colour or in stain colours or with a clear lacquer where you can see the beautiful timber on the inside. The maintenance free aluminium can be supplied in almost any Ral or NCS colours so the colour possibilities are indefinite and will suite any building.

All types of glass…

The glass possibilities are indefinite and the items can be supplied with almost any type of glass there is on the marked, such as triple glazed with insulation values down to 0.5, burglar proof glass, sun protecting glass and a lot of different frosted glass types.

” Genuine” panel

We are one of the few on the marked able to supply you with a genuine wood aluminium clad panel (Smooth inside and outside). It is a high insulated sandwich panel with smooth aluminium on the outside and smooth wooden panel on the inside.

More than 150 RAL-colours and more than 1950 NCS colours

can be supplied on both the timber and on the aluminium.

Unique hardware & construction

The items are all inward opening with a unique hardware, where the same sash can open as both side hung or tilt. The tilt function gives optimum secure ventilation and you do not have to remove flowers or curtains to vent. The inward opening turn allows easy and safe cleaning on every storey.

Burglary safe

The standard hardware is extremely burglary safe with lucking point all around the sash and not only on the locking side as a normal casement window. Shown with security accessory WK2.

Wind and water tight

The many locking points also makes the window extremely tight, as the weather strips are pressed against the frame all around the sash and not on the locking side as a normal casement window.

Vrogum has therefore developed the already advanced wood aluminium clad window to pass the passive-house demands. We achieve the extremely high insulation values due to the way in which the wood is laminated with layers of foam, combined with a thermal break this gives an extremely high insulated window.

The doors are all inward opening, with power full 3d adjustable hinges, security espagnolette and striking plate.

The unique construction where the sash overlaps the frame makes it possible to fit 3 weather strips (2 on the bottom of the sash) against only 1 on a standard door. This makes the door extremely tight. The doors can therefore be fitted in any environment, high or low or directly at the sea.

Large choice

The doors are shown with both the outside and the inside look of the same design. Underneath is the type number of the door.

The hardware makes the door extremely burglary proof. The espagnolette has 2 security hooks, one in the top and one at the bottom. In addition to that it has an extra strong locking point in the middle. As something completely different to the standard door which only has a striking plate at the hooks, this one has a striking plate the goes all the way from the bottom to the top of the door sash, that makes it extremely secure.

The doors are shown with different colours, but as mentioned we can supply the doors in almost any colour you want. Even a clear lacquer on the inside, which makes you able to see the beauty of the wood. The inside can also be painted to any colour if you do not want to see the timber for a more contemporary look. The glass can also be changed and we are as mentioned able to supply you with almost any type of glass there is on the marked.
